(Sorry if this has been asked before!)

I know love spells done on a specific people are bad since you’re messing with their free will. I was wondering if a spell to look for someone with specific characteristics is bad though? Like is it considered a love spell? will it have negative consequences?

I think you’re good. No specific target means no manipulation, so I say go for it. Edit to add: be careful in the wording. For example, if you asked for an animal lover, you could end up with an extreme PETA type, rather than the one who loves pets as much as you do.

    Hi!
First of all. Love spells aren’t bad. People comprehend love spells as spells that manipulate the free will of people, but there are a lot of kinds of love spell. Doing a spell for self love is a love spell, doing a spell for generate more caring in your family is a love spell.
Well, I think that a spell to find someone isn’t bad, but be careful with your words. This kind of spell probably will be a guide for you to find the person you wish to be with you.
    Wish you luck!

This is a particular opinion based off a particular ethical position.

There are many opinions about what constitutes right or wrong action, and indeed, about whether or not free will even exists.

You might find that you are better served by determining what your own ethical principles are and then acting in accordance with them. This will likely be more beneficial to you in the long run than asking random strangers on the internet, who may have any number of beliefs about ethics, about whether an action is ethical or not.

Unless you’re following some sort of dogma, born of someone’s need to police magic, do whatever you want, love spells included. If things go sideways and off a cliff, it’s on you. If you don’t enjoy that level of personal responsibility, carry on in the kiddie pool.
