Forums Forums Tarot Can I come up with some sort of yes-no system with my deck?

I recently had something pop out of existence within the last week and I’m pretty desperate to find it.
I understand that the point of tarot cards is to interpret, but what if I wanted to find something lost? Like a direct ish yes/no system to help me pin point where it could be?

Is there a benefit to using cards over, say a coin flip for this?

Even if you did decide on a concrete system, would it be accurate? If I asked “Does 2+2 = 4?” and got only “yes,” then perhaps it would work, but without the cards having absolute knowledge, is it even worth it to trust the cards over it?

It seem that retracing your steps, writing down your actions from the last time you saw the item, and systematically cleaning the places you might have lost it are the best chances you have of finding the thing without going on a wild goose chase.

Edit: Looks like your cards have already told you something that you know to be false. Maybe it’s time to start thinking of an alternative method of finding the item in question.

    How about even/odd?

As far as I know, every card has either yes or no assigned to them. The spread I’ve seen most commonly was to lay 5 cards an the majority wins
