Can y’all explain to me exactly what you see or feel in a lot of detail? Like when you do a reading how do you prepare to see or feel whatever it is your reading. Also when did you notice you have this ability?

Mediums do not all sense the same, so I imagine you’ll get a lot of varying responses, which is a good thing! Spirit is as unique, if not more so, than we are in this human experience. How Spirit communicates varies widely! For myself, I experience physical apparitions, body sensations, visions, images, symbols, music, numbers and even a knowing. My biggest alert to Spirit communication is color. I will see certain colors and understand a specific meaning behind them. Sometimes I get extremely specific details (ex: middle names, birthdates, even apartment numbers) and other times it a much more broad swath of information (seeing a specific color yellow meaning new energy/changes are present, or a specific blue which would indicate trouble in communication/lies).

I hope you’ll get a lot of varying answers to this, it’s important that ppl that are interested/learning understand how unique energy signatures and spirit can be. Sometimes subtle and sometimes loud, Spirit is always communicating.

Edit: I forgot to add when preparing for a reading or when I want to work with Spirit, I *always* prepare myself by making sure I am grounded and centered. I work with my I AM Presence/Creator to ensure the energy that surrounds me is fully anchored from the heart. I spend about 15-20 minutes before and AFTER each session making sure my energy is clear. A must for me is also only working from the heart. I find that I have the most clear balanced information when I work this way, I don’t trust information any other way, nor do I listen to anything (information) outside of Self.

Hi, I’m new on here so here goes. I’ve had a knowing since I can remember and was told a long long time ago during different readings that am strongly gifted and me visiting was a way of reassurance. I will try and explain the best I can, other than just a knowing deep inside I also have a vision of a huge step, its huge larger than you could physically climb! And it has no end or beginning ( bear with me) it’s a step you get up on mentally, it’s a warm colour. Once your mind is there, you dont see material things such as houses, people ect you actually don’t see anything but colour. It’s a different level. In that place I recieved thoughts that are not mine nor have any bearing in my life of thought process. I tend to zone out whilst talking to people, and answer with a totally random thing that has nothing to do with the actual conversation. Odd I realise. I also have visitations and spirit waking me up repeatedly telling me their name, or coming in and out of my room. I have a all knowing, but the visitations are new to me. This is my explanation and experience, I’m not sure if others are the same?

I don’t do formal readings. When Spirit speaks to me about a person its generally spur-of-the moment and strong enough for me to have no peace of mind until I pass the message along. When I see spirits its like they want an acknowledgement that I see them, but generally don’t have anything to say. Its more like they want to be recognized. And I have what I call “A Knower” that feels centered in my solar plexus. There is an impression that happens that isn’t in my head, but is more in my gut. And thats generally almost a full sentence thing, but not what I would consider an audible voice. Like one time at a restaurant I looked over at a family that was eating dinner, classic American family, husband, wife, 2 kids. They looked perfect. And my gut said “He’s cheating on her at work”
There was never a doubt in my mind that it was true, it just came through so clearly. It freaks people who know me out, because they know telling lies or half truths will not work. I often don’t say what I’m hearing, especially if its negative. But when it comes through, its clear as a bell. Hence, my Knower.

Hello, I just started up myself. I had a “knowing” my whole, I remember when I was a child asking if this is my real life, why does everything seem fake and preplanned… not something a child should say. My mom would just say I’m special. I just recently started dong psychic circles on zoom. This definitely helped me get back in touch with my gifts. Still working on getting clear visions and answers. I ha e issues keeping my visions and not letting my ego take over.
I would recommend grounding yourself before practicing or reading someone. I was surprised I could read someone over zoom, for someone reason not in person… something I’m still working on.
I would check out meetup in the App Store for mediumship classes or even a podcast or two.
It’s really easy to get distracted while reading. I need silence. Close your eyes if you need too. Take deep slow breaths. You got this… I believe in you!!!’
