I recently made the observation that many eccentric famous people with a “character style” are Capricorns – namely Lemmy Kilmister, Marilyn Manson, Beatrix Ost, Jimmy Goldstein, even Jared Leto.
All of these people have a very eccentric style, but it’s always on-brand and in-character for them.
I checked their charts to look for prominent Aquarius placements, and *nada*. None of that. Caps are eccentric too, especially when they age.
I think the “boring wall street broker”- sterotype for Caps needs a revamp.

Aquarius are not REALLY eccentric, they just dress quirky or whatever.
Caps are eccentric AT THEIR CORE.

i made a post similar to this a while back! there are tons of interesting, iconic people born under capricorn – elvis, bowie, dolly parton, muhammad ali, martin luther king to name but a few. a lot of very progressive, strong thinkers and creatives under this sign.

i recently learn Zooey Deschanel is a capricorn and… i feel like that totally checks out. Everyone points to her, especially her as Jess in New Girl, as the epitome of Aquarius energy, but now that i know she’s a capricorn i feel like there’s no excuse for the horrible cap stereotype!

Haha how do Capricorn’s seem boring? Not mad or anything obviously but curious. We are inspired, self driven for our loved ones, and very creative. One word. Imagination. Not only do Capricorn’s use imagination. Imagination is the work bench of bringing anything to reality. We are always connected to “infinite intelligence” as one book referred to. We can stimulate our minds through various means to actually call for this higher power and connect with it. I’m still aiming towards trying to practice this but it makes sense. Think and grow rich is the book if you are wondering. Such a good book. I probably haven’t done the best job of explaining lol. I am a strong believer in the universe as a force, or God.

As a 6 planet Aqua, I’ve found that some of my favorite musicians, and indeed the most inventive ones, are Capricorns.
For instance, Squarepusher, Venetian Snares, John Scofield, Mike Stern, David Bowie, Etc.
It’s easy to chalk it up to Aquarian planets or Uranus in the chart, or progressed planets through Aquarius. But, Saturn seems to give Capricorns a striving nature urging them to move away from the center and to the outer realms.

I think Capricorn is another Zodiac sign that has really suffered due to being associated to a house. 10th house rules careers caps must be all about careers right?! My life I have spent surrounded by Capricorns either Moons, Sun or Risings and the majority of them are fun party animals and have no idea what the hell they want to do as a career. Maybe this as something to do with being in the generation that has Uranus and Neptune in Capricorn too I’m not sure.

**I dont think this is a statement most Caps live by.** I think that part has to do with Saturn. Caps live with no limits.
However, something I have learned is that unlike other signs, Caps are not afraid of risks and are strategic enough to have multiple plans, not just one. Ive met many of the extroverted signs who actually are scared, admit to needing discipline, have no self control, need structure and are scared of risks outside of what they know. I know people who will backpack through Europe for a month on vacation but all acted like babies when I asked them to go ziplinig with me. Too far out of their comfort zone. They stick to the script and if you listen closely, all of their stories are the same, yet a Caps differs or can follows multiple layers of living all with having balance, control, discipline, not afraid of failure, structure and having a strategy for everything. Even Aquarius doesnt live like this.

Oh yeah. I totally resonate with getting that money but I also am someone who is down for ANYTHING and not super stiff. I feel I’m very laid back and open to whatever. I do have Saturn in Aries, moon in Scorpio, Mars in libra, rising Taurus, so I’m very passionate about creative things and aesthetic. 3 Aquarius placements, so I’m sure that contributes as well.

Agreed. I read somewhere that Capricorn risings are very awkward in their sense of humor and presentation and I think it’s very true. It makes sense that that would apply to other Capricorn placements
