Capricorn and eccentric characters – not as boring as you think

I recently made the observation that many eccentric famous people with a “character style” are Capricorns – namely Lemmy Kilmister, Marilyn Manson, Beatrix Ost, Jimmy Goldstein, even Jared Leto.

All of these people have a very eccentric style, but it’s always on-brand and in-character for them.

I checked their charts to look for prominent Aquarius placements, and *nada*. None of that. Caps are eccentric too, especially when they age.

I think the “boring wall street broker”- sterotype for Caps needs a revamp.

Let us not forget DAVID BOWIE. I always am surprised when I remember his sun is in Capricorn.

This is so interesting. I’m a cap sun and I’ve never really identified much with it- always thought it was my Sag moon, Mercury and rising, 1H Uranus, Venus and Mars in Aquarius, 1H Neptune and strong Uranus aspects to my personal planets. But my sun is in my 1H and aspect my ascendant so it makes sense it would be a big part of my personality. I really agree that Capricorns are eccentric in that they’re authentic to themselves and whatever they think, I’m definitely like this. I’ve never been able to change how I act/ present myself even though it’s caused me pain in multiple in environments (school, work and family life). People tell me that I’m the most stubborn and single minded person they’ve ever met, but I know I’m always right when it comes to me lol ????

Add Janis Joplin and Jim Carrey to the list of eccentric Caps. Also, he’s a fictional character but Sir Arthur Conan Doyle gave Sherlock Holmes a January 6 birthday. I’ve never really known a Cap that was like astrology books describes. When I see people describe Caps like that I know they’re really just mainly going off what they’ve read in books or three internet and haven’t really studied actual flesh and blood Capricorns. I think the difference between Capricorn and some of the other signs that are said to be eccentric or weird is that those other signs may be more eccentric in appearance. They wear it on their sleeve, so to speak. A Cap will still have that serious demeanor when you see them. But when you talk to them and get to see their habits and some of the things they’re into its like “Yeahhhh you’re kinda different.” Sherlock Holmes would appear to be a normal English gentleman at first glance. But get to know his daily habits and the things he’s into and you see the eccentricity.

Hey OP Marilyn Manson is more than eccentric. He has been called out for being a narcissist abuser of women. Google it. I am a Capricorn moon and consider myself a bit of a weirdo, but please don’t compare us to MM, he doesn’t deserve it.
