NevilleParticipantNot sure if this is the right sub but hopefully I can get advice here.
I (23F) went to get a Reiki (sorry if that’s not how it’s spelled) session after my boyfriends mom – who is learning, and she had to stop towards the end because she started getting a weird feeling and felt super sick. So I went to the Reiki Master that teaches her and she said I was holding on to a lot of grief etc…i pretty much cried the entire session and talked about how the person I lost has been nearby the whole time, but that she’s not a medium so she can’t really say anything else.
Ever since I’ve felt sad and a bit lost – I am scared to talk to a medium because I don’t want to cry….
I guess I’m just asking for advice or guidance on what to do next? I don’t want to keep feeling this way -

GuestFebruary 17, 2021 at 6:20 amSo I’m only a beginner practitioner of Reiki myself so please take my advice lightly, but it’s not uncommon for emotions to be brought to the surface, and many people cry for days after their first ever session, many sleep, many cry, I myself was ill for days. I felt awful.
It definitely sounds you’re still holding on to a lot of sadness about the person you lost, but also a lot of stagnant energy.
I’d personally say it may help you to continue with reiki if you’re interested, even learn it yourself as it’s cheaper (I like getting treatments from more experienced reiki practitioners, but I ain’t made of money so I learnt to do little sessions myself lol). But also maybe visit a trusted medium, it sounds like you need to say something to the person or you want to know they’re okay.
Just my opinions obviously, I’m a novice in all spiritual aspects at the moment so please take my advice lightly 🙂

GuestFebruary 17, 2021 at 6:20 amSeems like you’ve got some processing to do. You have to cry and work through those sad feelings. It’s okay to feel sad and let it out. If you don’t let it out it gets stored in your energy body and gets stuck creating more imbalance.

GuestFebruary 17, 2021 at 6:20 amSounds like your root, sacral and solar plexus need some work, I suggest you keep going back to this reiki master, and get an alignment, I’m reiki certified myself I havent cried but I’ve had deep laughter, and definitely feel those sad moments, I also suggest polarity I find that, that helps clear stagnant energy that helps me alot. Anyway crying is allowing yourself to heal. I suggest crying till you stop feelings always pass no matter what! Remember you’re worth it allow yourself to heal!

GuestFebruary 17, 2021 at 6:20 amCrying is good. The more you hold it back the more stuck you will feel! The energy is coming up to be felt through and released and if you run or shove it back down it’ll go back to where it was. The only way out is through, my friend. Sending strength!

GuestFebruary 17, 2021 at 6:20 amToo me it sounds like the Reiki Session has started to move stuck emotions in you. If you do not confrontate your selfe with your emotions they stsrt building up blockades (psychological AND physical!!) in your body. So the Reiki session definetely got in touch with at least some of these physical blockades. Bc thats what Reiki does. It maybe even opened some blockades so that there now is energy flowing in a way your body is not used to. Since this experience your body needs to “readapt’ to the “new way” the Energy can flow in your body. Maybe thats what gives you these unwell feelings.
Only if you express/ or activly confrontate your emotions your body can process your emotions (which it needs to do bc otherwise they will build blockades).
There are plenty of ways to do so and everybody needs to find his own way.
Since i do not now how experienced you are in this whole “energy and spirits” things here some common ideas to help your body “reorganize” its own energy: Meditation, Projektion, expressive writing and yoga. You definetely gotta be patient with ypur selfe and listen more to what your body or stomach “tells” you.
If these things wont help you can definetely go and see a medium, a Reiki guy, somebody who is good with Shin Jin Jyutsu or even a good osteaopathic could help (they might not bee a medium but some are strong with their third eye ;).I just reread this and it sounds a bit like a hoax even to my selfe ^^ but im serious about it

GuestFebruary 17, 2021 at 6:20 amIve had similar experiences after sessions. My practitioner pulled a little buddy that was hitching a ride in my liver. For days after I had these waves of anger. Old ass festering crap that was just sitting there for years.
She actually did an emergency soul retrieval a few days after and then it started to mellow out.
Anyway, thats a common thing where you can have some things unclogged and it can be very intense for a period of time. Hopefully they can help smooth it out
