Do they hold much importance to a chart, in your opinion? Or is it the planets that is the sole focus?

I’m not a professional, but the nodes have been tremendously helpful in my personal self development. And eerily accurate too. I have NN Capricorn 6H and SN Cancer 12H. Reading about this axis gives me clarity on what my growth path should be, and the signs of me slipping back into my old comfortable ways.

I believe so. I know I didn’t give it much weight before. Currently I work as a therapist, but I have a lot of urges to move towards something more creative. I have my SN in the 11th house and my NN in the 5th house. So it all makes sense why I ended up picking something like that. But a part of me knows I need to figure out how to fulfill that 5th house urge. I have a stellium of Venus, Mars, Uranus, and Neptune there too so I think the energy is very strong to me. Chiron also has been important for me. ESPECIALLY looking at the way it was aspected. Just knowing it was in the 12th was almost too generalized.

uhhh hell yeah. i have chiron leo 7H so i always feel like ill never grt the shine i deserve, everyone in my life has shitted on me. the world and all my relationships, btw family friends n lovers have literally chewed me up n spat me out but guess what? my north node sag 11H says fuck all that, cus with my SN in my 5H, its not abt me. its abt me returning back to said shitty world n speaking up for the underdog in order to heal and teach the very same ones that did me dirty n also rescue those goin thru similar shit.

so my chiron makes me crave ppl but constantly get hurt n disappointed by them

& my nn/sn forces me to push past my pain n still b a voice for not only those who hurt me but everyone

my chart is absolutely fckn twisted n chaotic. 🥺

My Chiron is in my 10th and most of my life I struggled with job/career things and recognition (very 10th house Chiron). Within the last 5 years I finally found the right thing for me and it’s the most fulfilling and successful I’ve ever been. I’m in my 40’s now so it took time. But this feels like soul work.

I had a lot of trauma and pain growing up and it took a long time to deal with those things, but now I help people work with their emotional and relational wounds and learn how to heal themselves. I resist calling myself a “healer” but I definitely work very directly with emotional wounds.

The Nodes are truly misunderstood in astrology. These are your connections. Literally one half of the “soul mate” formula which is Meridian/Node midpoint.

The Nodes represents your connections in every area of your life. Check your Nodes to everyone you have had close relationship to and with… Your common bonds, who you come in actual contact with is here on this point.

Chiron, like all the asteroids was just another mess of stew astrologers threw into the mix in the 70’s. They have no scientific proof of their claims blather on about them while ignoring Trans-Neptunes and Uranian Astrology which is in fact “provable”.

The entire practice of asteroids appears to the diversion when Uranian Astrology became somewhat known in the USA. We have 5,000 very specific formulas that have been vetted, tested, proven out… asteroids have a bunch of astrologers that are intuitive but not scientific in their work promoting less than quality astrology. Get “Rules For Planetary Pictures”… learn Uranian Astrology. Save yourself a million rabbit holes.

Chiron is super important to me to read into and I think I can feel that energy. Mine is Leo in the 11th and I think compliments my 5th house saturn well. The nodes, not so much. If someone could help me. My south node is gemini 3rd house with north sag and 9th… that has not been embraced

No I hardly pay attention to them in my interpretations. Someone did look at my chart and gave me a lot of interpretations about Chiron and they were so on point though that it makes me feel like if I incorporate anything additional beyond planets MC ascendant maybe Chiron would be next

    None whatsoever.

Morin rejected the nodes on the grounds that different medieval astrologers could give contradictory interpretations. Reading modern authors, I found exactly the same thing.

As for asteroids, ancient astrologers knew seven out of ten planets, and so one might expect their interpretations to be at least 70% correct. If each planetesimal had the effect of a planet, then, with around 4000 missing bodies, a conventional chart would be worthless. On the other hand, if the traditional chart is, say, 75% complete, then each planet is over a thousand times more significant than each asteroid. There is also the problem of the interpretation of Chiron, which (as with asteroids) has relied heavily on mythology. The astrologers who determined the nature of Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto did it by astrological research, not by copying bits out of a compendium of Greek myths.

In sidereal (especially Vedic), the nodes are a HUGE focus! They are considered to be shadow planets and usually malefic for that. When I was studying tropical, I didn’t pay as much attention to the nodes. I’ve Chiron in sag 7th house for both so that placement didn’t change.

Yes they are important for different types of chart analysis.
