    Beautiful dagger! Not sure how widespread this belief is, but in my culture at least superstition dictates knives shouldn’t be gifted, lest they cut/sever the friendship. You might consider paying your girlfriend a token penny for the dagger, just in case.

    Fun fact about this quote: the author didn’t mean this as “rowdy women go down in history” but rather that the well behaved women you hear about in history are rarely the actual movers. She wrote an essay using Rosa parks as an example as many black women had been arrested in identical situations, many who fought back, but Rosa parks was a more “moderate”/“palatable” icon. I feel like that does reflect witchcraft somewhat. Though witches may not have been memorialized in history they certainly made lots of it behind the scenes.
