Beautiful dagger! Not sure how widespread this belief is, but in my culture at least superstition dictates knives shouldn’t be gifted, lest they cut/sever the friendship. You might consider paying your girlfriend a token penny for the dagger, just in case.

Fun fact about this quote: the author didn’t mean this as “rowdy women go down in history” but rather that the well behaved women you hear about in history are rarely the actual movers.
