Florida water stinging/burning my neck?

Hi! So just as the title says Florida water is suddenly burning when I put it on my body! I’ve been doing it for a while, my skin is not sensitive at all and I’ve been told that this means someone/ is trying to harm me? I’ve found little information about this being a thing, I’m still learning! I wanted to know if this is true or if it may mean something else? (Already confirmed with dermatologist that there’s nothing medical about it)

Normally, Florida Water is alcohol based, so if you have any irritation, any scratches, acne, or even just sensitive skin, it would make sense that you would feel some burning or stinging! I’m not sure what you’re using it for, but if you plan to put FW on your skin, you may want to dilute it in a less harsh liquid.

You could be allergic to any of the many essential oils that are used to make Florida water
