GuestApril 24, 2024 at 4:10 pmHow are you interpreting the card? Is it upright or reversed? In my opinion, when the card appears upright, it is a positive indication to take a break and contemplate future actions. Moreover, it signifies a state of enlightenment. On the other hand, when the card appears reversed, it indicates being stuck and resistant to change, especially internal transformation.

GuestApril 24, 2024 at 4:10 pmTwo ways you can look at the hanged man is either a change of worldview or self sacrifice.
So if you’re drawing the card for different men, I would be inclined to take the former interpretation. Because it’s come up with multiple prospective partners, I would wonder if the card is more about you.
When people are looking for a relationship, it can sometimes be tough to differentiate between what we find attractive and what is actually fitting for us. You meet someone or go on a date and the person can look good on paper, so to speak, but the chemistry is lacking. Then there are times when the sparks fly to the extent that we overlook red flags.
With that in mind I would guess maybe the card is asking you to really examine that dynamic when you consider a prospective partner and focus more on the ones who would be good for you rather than the ones who are sweeping you off your feet.
So, I don’t know, maybe it’s telling you to reconsider someone who you’ve ruled out as a potential partner or try a second date with someone that felt like a dud the first time around? Sometimes the best relationships start out with an awkward phase, but when you get to know them it’s a stronger bond.
Something like that maybe.

GuestApril 24, 2024 at 4:10 pmI look at the Hanged Man as “I hung myself here, now I’ll have to wait and see how it plays out”. Since the original interpretation of the card comes from the traitor hung up on display to be shamed and his face is one of acceptance, is there any of sense of having betrayed your own values, an original path or choice that you now feel like you’re just accepting because that’s what expected?

GuestApril 24, 2024 at 4:10 pmYour interpretation rings accurate for the hanged man who is ruled by NEPTUNE: the planet of illusions and eternity. People represented by this card are not very detailed or precise, theyâre prone to ignoring what doesnât fit their perspective and can present their thoughts as the whole picture (like the hanged man only seeing the world from his hanged point of view) âgo with the flowâ types who allow chaos and ambiguity, they ignore what they donât like rather than taking steps to fix anything and hopes it disappears , they accept all things to pass through, Open like the ocean. Ambient forces find expression through them: âAll vibesâ people who see no value in time and are fine with hanging forever. Reversed, and you can get a liar who creates chaotic ambiguous mess to escape consequences.
Overall, if you know people like this who you acknowledge as wasting your time and keeping you confused, then donât bother if you know it wonât lead anywhere..The hanged man does allow you an open space to be and do anything you want, but youâll never know if itâs a trap

GuestApril 24, 2024 at 4:10 pmCool, thatâs an interesting interpretation. I usually interpret the Hanged Man as a time when one lets go of trying to control a situation or outcome and surrenders to what is and what may be. They see things from a different perspective and often it is an enlightened point of view from maybe where they started from. For me, itâs not a negative thing by itself and the interpretation extends way beyond the modern âNeptuneâor Pisces-esque ruled person. Remember this card comes right before the Death cardâheâs surrendering to the inevitable ego death that is approaching, he canât fight it and he realizes that thereâs value in the âinactionâ and surrender now. I donât see it as a person who doesnât know what they wantâthe Hanged Man may have many âwantsâ but heâs subject to outside influence now, outside his ego desires and going inward as he surrenders. He is actively being inactive and itâs from a place of wisdom. Thatâs hot. Lol.
Anywho, Iâd do some more in-depth readings on why this card keeps coming up for you. Sometimes repeat cards are trying to tell us something or get our attention. đ

I would also question the interpretation you’re assigning to this card. It doesn’t usually indicate confusion. The Hanged Man is (as others have said) about a change in perspective. It asks you sacrifice your current way of seeing things and allow the situation to just be. I wonder what the question is? What are you actually asking when you draw the card? If you’re asking what you can expect from them, then it would say patience and acceptance of the current situation. Perhaps they’ve decided to wait for now and not take any proactive steps? They next question would be to ask why this situation keeps occurring?
