Help with items for protection and empath protection

I’ll keep it short. I am a new witch doing my research. My spouse is an empath and often affected and worn down by other people, going out can feel exhausting. Any specific items/spells that could help with protection and repelling mental energy? Thanks

What type of empath? Might be helpful.

Any black stone, tourmaline is common, can act as a bit of a psychic shield. I’ve actually found rutilated quartz to be helpful, myself.

Steer clear of amethyst, it acts as a psychic amplifier for some empaths.

You could also teach him some basic shielding. Even a low-level shield will help lessen the impact.
