How do I figure out what house my node is in

My north node is in Scorpio, what house is it in? I get Scorpio is the 8th house but then I’m seeing people says they have their north node in Scorpio and in like the 6th house or some other number

Scorpio is not the 8th house. Unless in your unique chart, you happen to actually have your 8th house cusp (that line) land in scorpio. Any sign can be on the 8th house. And scorpio can be on any house

Most charts have little numbers inside each pie-wedge shaped house. Those tell you which house it is.

Scorpio could be in any house in a birth chart. its calculated from the ascendant. so for example if your ascendant is libra then libra occupies your 1st house, Scorpio 2nd house, Sagittarius 3rd house and so on. the north node and south node are exactly opposing each in the birth chart. the nodes could be in any of the houses as well. two people born on the same day could have the nodes in different houses because the ascendant changes every few hours.
