I have a bunch of herbs, crystals, oils, candles etc. I’m curious how other people store theirs. Do you put them in jars, a drawer, leave them out? I’m looking for ideas on how to best keep them.

For herbs, resins, bath blends, and suchlike, I like to keep them in glass jars like Mason jars so they stay fresh as long as possible.

For candles, I keep them wrapped in paper and separated by colour, unless it’s a bigger box of them, in which case I just keep them in the box.

For oils, I just keep them organized in a box I have near my altar.

For non-magical tools like needles or candleholders (and not my athame, wand, etc.), I just keep them organized in a box when they’re not in use.

I don’t work with crystals much, but I suppose if I did I would just keep them out on a dresser or something.

I have a set of shelves with a big red metal tool box that I use to hold most of my magical supplies (well, the ones that aren’t on display on my altar.)

I reuse any containers or dropper bottles from my skincare items when their gone; almost all of the containers are waterproof and the glass dropper bottles work well for creating my own oils. Dollar tree carries a 2pk of glass dropper bottles as well, if you ever need a couple.

My herbs are either in ziploc craft bags (you can find them in craft stores or online in a multitude of sizes, usually for a pretty decent price) or mason jars, of which I keep in one of those old-school decorative painted cardboard boxes, that are thicker and hardened.

Crystals: anything from a small tumbled crystal to the large spheres/obelisks/etc. are displayed in some way. Crystal chips (for shaker jars and the like, or even small grids) I keep in a cigar box in ziploc craft bags.

A lot of my other stuff I keep in a couple cigar boxes as well (they make excellent storage boxes and have a ton of character and unique energies). My athame, wand, and pestle and mortar pieces are included in my altar. My divination tools are kept in a shelf right under ny altar. Moon/Sun waters I haven’t yet figured out a great storage solution for them in my space but I am planning on rearranging the room to try and make the most of my space (I had arranged it initially before beginning my Craft, so it definitely needs a new arrangement).

My multitudes of notebooks and journals are kept on a couple of shelves on my computer desk/altar and work area. My BOS I have hidden away in a place that is easy enough for me to grab when needed, but not an easy enough spot where people could find it.

And my current mini altar for money bowl is sitting a top my dresser.

I am looking into pieces like baker’s racks, narrow shelving units, nightstands (to put right next to one another to create a larger surface area), and the like but nothing has jumped out at me yet. When I find that perfect piece, I will certainly know.

I basically keep everything in labeled glass jars and dropper bottles alphabetized on shelves. Small items go in drawers. My altar is a desk/bookshelf combo so the desk space is my working area and the rest is meant to be a display so I can easily grab for things as I’m working. Small items I keep in the two little drawers I have on this unit.

My altar sits atop a small console cabinet. I keep all of my supplies on the shelves inside.

I don’t have many so I keep everything in a cute bin I got from the store to keep everything together so I’m not trying to remember where I put everything.

I keep all mine on drawers or on the bottle shelf of my altar (it’s a two tier bedside table that I’ve changed for this purpose). My candles are all set for both magical and mundane purposes and left in rooms according to them. Plant matter gets ramekins, crystals are stored out of reach of the sun so no sun bleaching occurs. Moon waters kept in ceramic bottles, so the water doesn’t get light access.

Herbs are in the kitchen on the spice rack. Small crystals are in a jewelry box, large ones on the bookcase with my witchy books. I don’t have many oils but if I did I’d get one of those organizers that are meant for nail polish. Candles are in a drawer with my tarot and oracle cards. Everything is pretty spread out but it’s what I can do for now.

My home is my altar, so I have stored things in a variety of different ways. Herbs are used in the kitchen not just for spellwork but for cooking so they get stored there as part of my spice storage. I don’t have a ton of crystals but the ones I do have are on altar shelves in various places. Incense and smelly burnables get stored in a drawer, next to the boxes of garbage bags (makes them smell nice too lol), in the kitchen. I have multiple boxes of candles, stored up on the top shelf in the kitchen. Teas specifically are stored in the beverage station, a bar cabinet I repurposed for this as I own A LOT of tea. My witchy books, are packed away with all my books that have been catalogued and boxed up under my bed to protect them from my child who isn’t kind to those kinds of things. I got myself a kindle because my book collection was starting to get out of hand space wise. I have one or two figurines, and other more decorative pieces they’re on altar shelves. I have temple bells at doorways into my home. My two main tarot decks are stored in the lower part of my kitchen altar shelf. One deck was my grandmother’s, the other has a strong connection with my community, so they get used as a bit of an energy touch stone not just for regular divination work. I have a large wooden spoon that gets used as a wand occasionally…. It’s in the cooking utensil drawer the rest of the time.

The candle collection dwindle to most fit into a decoupaged shoebox. Tealights big bag in a laundry detergent box 1 full bag and 1 of 1/4 full of tealights.

I have a garden so herbs dried is only small jars and envelopes for cold seasons use.

Shop bought incenses used up most sticks and cones. Use resins and greek orthodox tiny cushions so keep most in the baggies and some in small tins, Diy loose incense blends in upcycled throat lozenges tins, example fire elements loose incense blend is in a red Pulmoll tin.

I have a spiritual supplies cabinet but it is not big, so some storage there. A winebox sort of 2 mini shelves on its long side stores very small jars and small bottles. Mid sized bins with more supplies. It is decades of things. One of my oldest is my RW Tarot bought in 1971.

My largest jar is Chivers marmelade jar and one size less some apple sauce jar that fits 2/3 cup contents and for very small glass jars use the mini jam jars Bonne Maman. Big size matchbox upcycle for storage very small bits.

Empty metal cookie tins also use those for storage of supplies, several in a stack.

My altars are a series of trunks. One trunk is just candles, candle holders, and incense.

My herbs are in jars or hanging bundles in my kitchen. My essential oils are stored in kitchen cabinets as well.

I keep all of my herbs and dried plants in repurposed pickle jars (cat whiskers and claw sheaths too!). I use LED candles, so I store them just in cabinets or storage bins, and my crystals are mostly stored in a pouch I carry everywhere with me.
