Cats can be a great judge of character! I feel powerful when I help people. Alleviating suffering of any kind (big or small) makes me feel like I’m doing my part and I have a place in the world. Thank you for letting me share 🙂

I’ve been blessed with “the look” and “mom voice”. Children tend to do what I ask – they may ignore me once, but not after that. My niblings know I’ll come lead them to brush their teeth or whatever if they’re not doing what they’re told, so usually all I have to say is their name when I amplify what their parents told them to do.

Yesterday at had a family thing and “C” (4M) was playing with a firetruck in the living room.

My mom: “C, will you please go in the other room with that?”

C: “No, I like it here.”

My aunt: “C, everyone else is playing in the kids’ room. Doesn’t that sound fun?”

    C: Nah, here is ok.”

Me: “C, what Nana meant was that you need to take your truck into the other room right now.”

No more was seen or heard of him in the living room that evening.

Very few kids misbehave around me, even ones who are strangers. I try to smile a lot because I know my RBF is forbidding but if I catch them running in a crowded place or something, a few raised eyebrows usually puts the kibosh on it. Works for adults sometimes, too.

when people’s dogs walk up to me. “Oh, he bites, he nips, she’s kinda yappy.” Well, your dog/problem seems to like me. I keep little cookies in my purse for random dogs on leashes. I’ve got the goods, they’re telling all their “difficult” friends at the dog park LOL

In storms, after consuming caffeinated brews and listening to powerful music. Blasting music with good bass. Swimming with my tail on.

I worked as a beekeeper and it trained me to be chill so I didn’t get stung. I just roll around all the time with this zen like chill and dogs respond really positively to it. They’ll winge and whine until I pat them. People are constantly saying, this dog usually hates strangers. Ima start a dog hive soon I think, I wonder what kinda honey they’ll make
