I woke up to my home filled with patchouli

Hello there.

Backstory: my father passed away in May 2021 6 feet down the hall from me while I was sleeping. He told me he passed before I woke up.
Since then I’ve had a lot of spiritual things happen to me.

Last Thursday I woke up at 1230am to and overwhelming smell of patchouli. I abruptly woke me up. I went searching in my home as I could smell it everywhere. I was trying to figure out what was causing it. It smelled like someone lit patchouli scent candles all in my home. Clearly I found nothing. I own nothing with patchouli in it.
I laid back down and fell asleep to the smell of it.

I discovered from my mom that my father’s favorite perfume of hers had patchouli in it. And that his mother’s (my grandma) favorite perfume had patchouli in it.

Was it him? Or her?

Has anyone else experienced this? Since he’s passed I’ve been having a lot of these things happen to me.

Of course it is a sign from him. Did you thank him for sharing this with you? I am sure he is just wanting to let you know he is there and will always be and that is how he will let you know. They always give us signs.
