Today, I woke up with a lot of anxiety. I can’t remember my dream very well from last night, which is really unusual for me. I am a vivid, storytelling dreamer.

So as I’m making breakfast, the feeling gets more intense. It starts feeling different from normal anxiety. It’s a sinking feeling, like something bad is on the horizon.

I get these premonition-like feelings, but I can’t tell what it is about! It’s very frustrating. I feel helpless about it—much like Neville looking into his Remembrall and not being able to remember what he’s forgotten.

I’m not particularly a medium, but I would say I’m sensitive and have been told I have a “psychic aura” by a few people.

Any thoughts or suggestions? I’m more so looking for help to either understand my premonitions more or be able to push it out of my mind while I work. It’s distracting. If you happen to tap in psychically to this, please feel free to let me know what your thoughts are, but I am not really looking for or interested in a reading, to clarify.

I get really jumpy around the full moon, they claim the moon has it’s own super charging powers? I take “B” vitamins because they help with those feelings. I have had many incidents like you are talking about. But one in particular my oldest daughter was working at a gas station, and I was home, and all of a sudden I got really jumpy and scared feeling, like something is really wrong? and it was overwhelming, my husband and other daughter were home so I knew it wasn’t connected to them, so I hopped in the car and I went to my daughters job, here there was police cars parked awkward, like they flew in, and they were inside writing out a report, some women threatened to kill my daughter because she wouldn’t give her the pin number for unpaid, pre-paid credit cards. My daughter loved that job but I am so glad she is not working there anymore, there was just too much craziness there…

I’ve totally had this before and know exactly how you feel.

Once I had horrible, sudden onset anxiety that lasted for about 2 or 3 weeks. It was really intense. Then one night I turn on the news and saw that there was the attack at the Bataclan theater and it was like, all of the sudden I felt the anxiety melt away and I had a sense of, “oh that’s why I’ve been feeling like this.” I think on some level I tuned into the collective conscious and must have sensed that something bad was going to happen, but I had no idea what. And I had no idea why I had the anxiety until after I saw the news.

Another time it came on suddenly, again, but I recognized that this anxiety didn’t belong to me because it felt different. Spent hours being distracted at work trying to figure out why I felt the way I did. Then my sister texted me and asked when I was free for a call because she needed to talk to me and I knew that whatever it was, was the reason I was feeling like that. After we talked the anxiety went away. I was somehow feeling her anxious energy.

Maybe try and meditate on it when you feel that way to see if it a) helps bring you calm and b) helps give you insight on why you are feeling that way. The only thing that helped calm my nerves was yoga, and I rarely even do yoga. I suspect the more this happens the more we will learn to discern the feelings and understand them.

I am feeling the exact same way today!! I even had to take my anxiety meds. I like the full moon theory and I’m hoping that’s all it is.

I get premonitions and often I know what they are related to and who is involved, but the feeling I get is not what I would describe as anxiety. It’s kind of like a ‘vibration’ for the want of a better word, like a buzzy feeling, but actually feels quite pleasant and sometimes I get a kind of dreamy feeling with it. It is a very distinct feeling. It can be for hours and hours before, like a whole day, or sometimes in the morning, and then whatever it is will happen later that morning or in the afternoon. I haven’t met anyone else who experiences premonitions with the same feelings as me, so it would be interesting to know if anyone else experiences them like this!
