Is it possible for mediums to communicate with someone who is living still?

I’m adopted and I know nothing of my family. I have considered hiring a medium to try and help
me communicate with someone but I don’t know if they are dead or alive.

If they are dead but they never knew me, would I still be able to talk to them?

Called telepathy and yes it is possible. If you look up some of Lyn Buchanan’s work on YT he is really into that. ( called remote influencing) It’s a bit dark. CE-5 is based on using telepathy to contact telepathic species of aliens, who are alive and have ships that light up like fireworks. That’s not dark and the outings are really fun. Humans are quite capable of it. Subjectively it is indistinguishable from regular channeling. Stargate attempted to bring down the old Soviet Union back in the 1970’s. That was using telepathy with remote viewing. Humans can do it as well as animals. It’s a survival mechanism. You can observe it most easily in predators.

My dog is good at it. He knows when someone is coming home and goes to the door 15 minutes before they arrive regardless of the time they leave.

The person you are talking will perceive it on a subconscious level. We tend to shut out the subconscious channeling data stream when we are awake. They may have dreams about it, a vague feeling. In the 15th century Johannes Trithemius trained a number of abbots in Germany how to use telepathy for espionage. He describes in the first part of Steganographia how he did it and some of his results. With the advent of the telephone and even more with the internet the specific art has been lost. It does not work like in the movies. If you are familiar with remote viewing and watch remote influencing stuff on you tube you will get an idea as to how the perception works. You can talk to any spirit. There are always spirits around you some you know some you do not. Some are human, most are not.

You would be able to talk to their spirit even though they are living. Whether the message will reach their conscious is another story altogether.
