Is it possible I was visited by a spirit with a card?

So my mother died when I was young and today I bought a deck of Smith Waite tarot cards (they’re probably the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen btw) and the card I pulled for the past was Queen of Cups and after learning it could be indicative of an important female in your past I was wondering if it could have been some sort of sign. If you believe in this type of thing do you think it was possible? This was my first time using tarot cards btw too.
