Ive been into tarot for probably around a year now. I’ve gotten many readings from friends, done many readings for friends, and even got a tarot card reading done by a shamanic healer at a witch store for my birthday in November!! I hope this is the right place to ask about this. There’s some readers especially on YouTube that I trust very much. (Stargirl the practical witch, blatherbie, charmed intuition) I know that blatherbie and charmed intuitions personal reading requests are closed atm, and I believe you have to subscribe to stargirl’s Patreon to receive a reading ( correct me if I’m wrong ). But, I’d still really like to purchase a personal reading. I’d like to know if anyone has any recommendations? ( please don’t self promote) I’d love to hear if anyone has gotten a personal reading from someone online that was very accurate and /or a someone offering readings that is widely trusted! thank you!

I didn’t get one, but I did give one for my friends and an online friend a while back when I first got my deck that was super accurate. I think as long as they’re genuine, you can get a super accurate reading. (I personally use significator cards to help). Not a self promote, because I only do it for close friends, but just a reassurance that online readings can be accurate

I often exchange readings with u/victorianpriestess. We have different styles (I like to use a lot of cards) but it’s amazing how much she can get out of single-card spreads.

I’ve done it with no noticeable change in accuracy, just recently I did a reading and it was good. I do prefer in person though and when I do it at a distance I do have the querent imagine shuffling a deck of cards and cutting it while I do so as well as some relaxation exercise to avoid the static that it can cause.

I’m old school, so for me unless the person physically shuffles the cards I find the readings aren’t particularly accurate.

    Why would you do this?

What makes you think you can trust these people? Do you know them? Do they know you? Have you formed some kind of relationship with them that would allow them to give you any kind of sensible advice? Would you just pick a random telephone number and ask the person on the other end of the line for personal advice?

Recommendation: unless you’re playing cards, tarot reading is essentially a kind of counsellor – client relationship; and you’re basically looking to engage the services of a counsellor. Try to find someone local that others can recommend. Talk with them, form some kind of relationship, then there’s some amount of trust ask them to do your reading. Be smart and go about this the way you would choose a doctor or a life coach or a personal trainer.
