    It’s been a while since I’ve come on here, but I’m looking for help with an incantation for a friend with debilitating anxiety.

    I have 2 items I’m going to be cleansing on the next full moon (to gift to her), but I’d like to say an incantation over them and imbue them with calming energies.

    If you have one that’s worked, please let me know!

    I too struggle heavily with generalized anxiety disorder. What are the items, if you’re comfortable sharing? It would help me come up with an incantation.

    Amazing gift!

    I don’t have an incantation but I practice a lot of affirmations and I love using words and charging crystals.

    I have one tiny piece of advice- steer clear of using negative words and the terms anxiety/depression.

    What we focus on expands. For example Someone who had no money or is short money will focus on that. This expands they have no money. Its like a law of attraction mindset, we believe we have no money and then the universe provides us the proof.
    Same with people who say I never win anything. They don’t win things and then they are proven right. But focusing on not winning means you expand it.

    I had anxiety before, and I noticed when I focused on anxiety I had more of it. More situations arose with it.
    So I changed my language. My room was no longer anxiety free, cos anxiety is in the title that’s what the brain focuses on. What the crystals pick up. Instead I say, my room is a calm, loving space. Focusing on these positive words makes them expand and I get more.

    Charging the crystals with what you would like her to have rather than saying they’re to get rid of anxiety gives them positivity. And then when she sees them they’re remind her of the positive message rather than, this is for anxiety.

    From my understanding when you allow the moon to bless any item, adding your own spell kinda sends mixed messages. I would recommend not adding your own energy until after the moon works her magic.

    So many people use magick instead of going to a therapist an So many see a therapist without actually going to a therapist that specialises in the exact disorder they r dealing with. I hope your friend is up for therapy because its so fucking important. All the best an your a good mate

    Any instant or short term relief is usually always unhealthy but with her being in therapy there should be 0 issues but maybe if she knows what the necklace is supposed to do then it might not be helpful because she might use it as a coping mechanism if she isnt wearing it constantly that is. I read these mental illness posts all the time an no one ever mentions anything like this, alot of the time people dont even mention to get a therapist..

    Look into catnip tincture. It’s great for anxiety. If you grow your own, that’s even better you can make it for them!

    I highly recommend these books for your friend. If they can afford therapy they should really go.
