Keys jingling at my door

Post This morning I woke up at 2:30am hearing keys jingling at the door as If someone was trying to get in but the door was open to the hallway. I thought I was dreaming until my dog got up and started barking. Any idea what it could be? First time I’ve ever had something paranormal trying to get my attention.
