Backstory: It’s been a wild year. I feel like I’m an entirely different person than I was last March. I’ve really gotten to know who I am and have started feeling a bit restless in my current situation. Have been at my current job for almost 5 years and recently received an MA in my field (part-time student). Totally by accident, I stumbled across the perfect job opening for me and am super excited to submit my application later this weekend. The possibiltes have me excited for my future, so I thought I’d do a reading about the potential. I use a borderless RWS deck and the Labyrinthos app to study/record my readings.

    Situation: VIII of Wands
I had my current situation in mind, so this feels like it is telling me that there is a positive change or shift coming. Like I might get the job and need to quickly make big decisions about the direction I want my life to go in.

    Action: X of Wands
Initially I read this as a positive thing, like I am able to successfully take up a new burden, but as I notice the stooped figure I wonder if it may be indicating that the burden is too heavy to bear comfortably. Or perhaps the burden is just heavier than he is used to. It would be the first time I move somewhere alone, which would certainly be a new challenge. The figure is heading towards a city, and the job is located in a much larger area than where I am currently. It would be the first time I move somewhere alone

    Outcome: VIII of Pentacles
This card says mastery or skill, passion at work. Whether I get the job or not, the outcome looks positive. I will be able to continue to grow my skills. This card feels content and diligent.

I have had several readings where the meanings just seem to shout out at me (I’m not great at putting it in writing) but I worry I’m not digging enough into the meaning. I would love a second opinion.
