    Hey all!

Hoping someone can help me out. I love meditating to connect with my spirit guides, to the point where I think I met my inner self during a session (yay)! But every time I do it then fall asleep, I get nightmares. They are different each time, but my most recent one scared me. I visualize a protect of white light surrounding me before each session. What else can I do to prevent this from happening? What does this mean? I don’t want to stop, but if it keeps happening, I don’t think I can keep persisting.

If this is happening after you meditate and are talking to spirit guides and these nightmares have some type of message there for you. I would not shy away from them, but instead when you wake up I would start to ask yourself what is it trying to say? Deciphering dreams is best done in a step by step fashion going through each and every little detail of that dream and trying to break it down and translate it to its most simplest format because very often our dreams are much more complex than the message that they’re trying to share. So after you’ve done that I’d be curious if they would continue. But if you are in fact looking to make them stop, then I would encourage you to say right before you fall asleep.”May only pleasant dreams be with me tonight” and see what that does. ♡

I visited a psychic the other day for the first time and the topic of meditation came up. We spoke a little bit and she said “Don’t forget to close the door so that nothing follows you out.”

This of course surprised me, I have never heard of this before. I asked her to explain and she said that with deep meditation we open a door and go into that space, but as we leave, it is good practice to deliberately visualize closing the door to block off outside energies from affecting us.

    That sounds unpleasant.

There are different reasons this can be happening…

For some, meditating before bed can open the third eye up and allow other entities to come in.

It really depends on the form of meditation and the intentions you were setting.

I meditate nightly and rarely will have a bad dream after meditating.

in the form of energy work that I practice, there is a form of grounding and breaking Karma as well as setting up protection around you that is done to intend that only your energy and your guides energy is within your space.

An easy thing to do on the physical level might be to sage the room. Have you ever done anything like that?
