Opinions on Online Tarot Readings

Hi all. I’ve been doing tarot for a while but don’t do readings for myself. I really want a reading done but there aren’t a lot of in person readers in my area, most are online. I was wondering how you guys feel about online readings. I feel as though I cannot do a reading for someone if I do not have their energy with me unless I know them well enough. How effective are online readings in your opinion? Is it worth the try?
