Oracle decks that aren’t cheesy

Can anyone recommend good oracle decks with tasteful art and aren’t cheesy with the affirmations?

I find that some mornings, all I want is a simple affirmation to feel better about the day ahead. Tarot hasn’t been providing me with that so far, understandably so since it’s better at showing me what I need to work on. But some days, I don’t have the headspace to do inner work – I just need to survive the work day ahead.

I did hear that oracle decks are better for this, but those that I’ve seen at my local bookstore chain look cheesy. I don’t need affirmations that are heavily sugar-coated, but something that empowers me to rise above my feelings and find the strength to be the best self I can be. Would love to hear your recommendations! ????????

So many of them /are/ cheesy or a little too woo-woo for me. It’s why I don’t take them as serious as tarot. I can understand using them along side tarot. I know a few people who do that. I like the artwork of the Work your Light Oracle. Been thinking of picking it up. You just gotta research some decks you like online where you feel connected to the keywords and artwork. I find a looot of the art super tacky.

I find the recently releases Lantern Oracle is pretty good and not-cheesy, because I tend to find quite a few decks are a little too… sugar coated? Lantern feels pretty grounded and down to earth to me.

Journey of Love oracle deck. I have been using tarot and oracle decks for many years and have over 10 different oracle decks but this one is by far my favorite. The images are absolutely beautiful but also abstract enough to leave the messages up for interpretation. I highly recommend it!

Moonology is a nice deck without being cheesy. It might not be as much for affirmations as you’re looking for, though.

Spirit Speak has three oracle decks (Vessel, Iris, and Road to Nowhere) that are really pretty and not cheesy

I have the Lantern Oracle, Liminal Spirits oracle, Mystic Sisters oracle, Season of the Witch oracle, Tree Whisper oracle and Celtic Tree Oracle. The Laverne Oracle is the only one I don’t have a lot of experience with since it is new. I have used it a few times now and I love it. The rest of the decks mentioned are used frequently and I have a strong connection with them. I use them for daily draws right now

I use playing cards for cardistry and card tricks, and on my regular website that I go to had one oracle deck left and the artwork was so stunning that I had to buy (after the encouragement of my wife who does tarot) is the Supra deck, and it’s not cheesy at all. The book just arrived this morning and I’m so excited to start this journey!

[Mausolea](https://www.google.ro/amp/s/amp.tarotarts.com/products/mausolea-oracle-of-souls) is a reallly nice deck, not with afirmations tho. It gives lots of context when you least expect it. Similar to it is also [Angelarium](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip9j4sLG3wk) which has a very interesting approaches to angels, similar to the previous deck.
I also enjoy [Moonology](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=pRxMwiv43rw), recommended if you love working with the moon’s energy.
[Work Your Light](https://www.google.ro/amp/s/www.mavenunmasked.com/blog-1//work-your-light-oracle-cards-unboxing-first-impressions-deck-reviews%3fformat=amp) and [Starseed](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=27U0cAE5x9E) are pretty nice as well; I don’t know if they are your cup of tea though.

I have the Spirit of the Animals Oracle and really like the messages of the deck and the artwork is stunning.

It works really well for me but I have been doing spirit animal work for quite sometime before I got the deck.

Eta: It comes with a guidebook that includes both upright and reverse meanings. I find that when I do a reading with the cards that both interpretations offer valuable insights.
