Psychic said I was put on this earth to teach people lessons, how should I interpret that ?

My sister went and saw the same psychic a few times, every time she went messages where coming through for me and the psychic kept telling my sister I should go see her. She also said that I was here and put on this earth to teach people lessons.. has anyone been told that before? It’s usually the other way around where you get told people come into your life to teach you lessons. Right? Thoughts?
