Hii, just found this subreddit. I was looking around for fun and this stuff is kinda interesting. Anyway, does anybody here actually believe any of this astrology stuff? Like you can actually tell what a person is like based on the day they were born? Or is it just for fun. Why or why not? I won’t judge one way or another, just wanna hear what you guys think.

I think there’s a significant distinction between new-age popular astrology that makes vague and ambiguous assumptions to pander to masses of people and what is going on in this sub. People around the world from difficult cultures since the Hellenistic period have been studying the stars for patterns and their effect on our lives. So, yeah I do think it has value, but I also believe that you know, not everything about planet alignments affect who you are, it’s not set in stone because people make different choices and choose different paths all the time.
