I would really love to make my own deck but am unsure of some details along the way and wanted to see if anyone could help me!

What type of card stock do you all prefer? Is there a specific website that you order card stock? Do you buy it pre-cut or is that something you do yourself? When finished, do you laminate? If not, how do you keep your deck preserved?

Any other tidbits/guidance you all might have I am open to hearing as well ????

I did the art digitally and had them printed by [https://www.makeplayingcards.com/](https://www.makeplayingcards.com/)

I used full color, plastic card. Very happy with them.

If you don’t do them digitally, take photos and submit – it will be a much better experience when it comes to shuffling.

Lastly – if you just really don’t want to go that route, use CCG card protectors instead of laminating. Then if you need to change something, you can just pull out the card and make the changes. It’s also generally going to be cheaper and sturdier than most lamination.

I second makeplayingcards.com. I painted my deck traditionally and then scanned them in and cleaned up the art digitally.

I used the linen cardstock but would go with the plastic if I did it again.

For me the hassle of trying to print them myself and cut them out just wasn’t feasible.
