I have only been studying tarot for a few years now, but Rachel Pollack’s book 78 Degrees of Wisdom made such an impact on me. Reading it I felt like I was receiving spiritual downloads, her words seemed to burn new pathways into my brain. I will be forever grateful that she chose to share her knowledge and wisdom with the world.

So sad. 78 Degrees was the first book I read on the tarot after the little white book. Very wise woman. She also wrote for DC Comics.

That’s so sad, she was such an inspiration. 78 Degrees is incredible, it impresses me so much every time I open it.

An incredible mind, preparing herself and others for the great mystery, passing into eternity, her writing has helped me learn to accept that it too waits for me, and there are ways of loving the life I choose to live that may not have been opened to me otherwise.

Rachel Pollack taught me everything I know about the tarot. My dog-earred copy of 78 degrees is such a valuable resource that I still learn from even after all these years.
