Interestingly, Simone DeBeauvoir said that feminine clothing was designed by patriarchy so that women can be kept in control and reduced to just an ornament. She said that most of the female clothing was actually impractical. I don’t remember the exact quote, but something like this was said.

If you don’t already have some, pocket leggings are LIFE CHANGING. It has always pissed me the fuck off that women’s clothing doesn’t have pockets – I NEED pockets! The advent of “athleisure” and pocket leggings has changed my whole relationship to clothes and at almost 60 I’m enjoying getting dressed for the first time in my life.

Phone on the right, ID/cards, lipscreen, and car keys on the left. Being able to rock climb with my phone on me but not banging around is just…so lovely.
