**What is Shitpost Saturday?**

Normally we have [8 rules on this subreddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/tarot/wiki/rules), but today (every Saturday, EST) only rules 1, 7 & 8 are being enforced.

*What we allow today…*

Send us your tarot pictures, your tarot memes, your favorite decks, your tarot set-ups and altars, you stories, your beginner questions, your half completed spreads, your gushing posts, your fluffy posts, your art work, as long as it is Tarot (or other Cartomancy) it is okay today!

*What is not allowed today…*

Again… **It must be related to Tarot or other forms of Cartomancy.** This is not a general witchcraft, psychic, Jungian or occult sub. Yes there are overlaps, but they are not the same thing.

Rule 1, **Promotional content (of any-kind) is still limited to the Promotions Megathread**… This means no social media and/or YouTube invites, reading services, or marketplace links.

Rule 7, **Do not Distribute, Share, Request, or Offer Pirated copies of books or tarot cards.** *If something you are sharing is copy-left, or in the public domain, make it easy for us to find that information.*

Rule 8, **Don’t be an ass**, No Gatekeeping, Harassing, Belittling or Dismissing another person or another person’s beliefs. Critique of ideas are acceptable, dismissive, ad hominem and other personal attacks are not.

*This is a new feature of the sub, we are still working on it, things may change.* Currently we have this set up for *Eastern Time* (New York, Toronto, Montreal, Miami), it will last for 24 hours. Keep in mind the auto-moderator is still active, your post may be temporarily filtered.

I’ve been getting the same stalker spread for over a year now. What could this mean?

For around a year now, if i ask anything along the lines of “what is coming my way” or “what do I need to know right now” or “what should I bring my attention towards” i get six of cups, the lovers, hierophant and seven of wands. Or, six of cups and the lovers. I’m really not sure what this could mean. Nothing big involving these meanings has really been happening.

I’m thinking this could be talking about a future partner? Or maybe it’s about inner child things. Not sure. Does anyone have any input? I’m really curious

So last weekend, my folks gave me sister and I a nice monetary gift. My dad specifically said as he handed me the cheque “have fun with this.”

So I spent a chunk ($525ish) on the preorder for the new Legend of Zelda OLED Nintendo Switch. It’s an upgrade for me because I have a Switch Lite.

Anyway, so on Monday morning (the day after) I did my daily reading… and I pulled the King of Pentacles, reversed. Imagine my amusement when I looked up the meaning to that one…

My mom may not be shading me for splurging (I told her yesterday) but my cards sure are! 😐

Hi, I just posted about Rachel Pollack’s passing on this sub, and I used the flair ‘Discussion’ as nothing else seemed to fit. It took a little while for the post to be visible, and when it was, I noticed that the flair had been changed to ‘Shitpost Saturday’.
I realize that it is indeed Saturday, but the flair feels somewhat disrespectful of the content of my post, and as far as I can tell from the rules, the flair ‘Shitpost Saturday’ is not required for everything posted on a Saturday regardless of content. I would like to change the flair on my post, but I do not want to offend anyone or break any rules I may have misread. What can I do?

I’m new to tarot, about a month in. I do a daily (small) spread or even a single card as I start to learn their meaning and my deck’s nuance. A couple questions:

-what are thoughts about only reading cards upright and mastering that before I open up to reading cards reversed too?

-this world is so much bigger than I could have imagined, in the best way. Besides daily reading for myself, how can I best practice expand my understanding and knowledge. I’m sure joining this sub is a good start 🙂
