I’m not clairvoyant but I can’t stop writing this off as schizophrenia. If this is an actual thing and not a thing witchtok made up, can someone tell me more? I’m very curious

It is…complicated but yeap, it is possible to see to some extent the spirits you’re talking with. Without having psychological problems.

Image flash, fuzzy shadow figures and forms, glowing, etc. Depends on every practitioner capacity. Some like to consume certain substances, but it is not a must.

There are people that see things sense energies and even hear things certain crystals can help increase it

Schizophrenia is not simply seeing or hearing things, there’s a lot more to it than that. Auditory hallucinations are actually very common. Static or white noise especially can cause our brains to hear completely different sounds because it just interprets it differently. Shadows or figures in the corner of our eyes are also our brains interpreting things incorrectly. You have to remember that our brains control literally everything we interpret/experience. A bit of dust could pass by your eye and your brain could go “that’s a person” and it will appear as a human shape to you because of it. There is science behind this, but that’s doesn’t mean that I can’t interpret it in a spiritual manner. In my opinion it is the spirits causing me to see it in this way.

I have been undergone evaluations multiple times and been in and out of therapy since I was child, mostly due to trauma. I have freely spoken about these experiences and have never once been diagnosed with any mental disorder that would cause hallucinations.

If I take too much THC I get short term psychosis. You can tell the difference between a spirit and psychosis. Spirits have an energy that changes the feeling/vibe, psychosis just pops/creeps in. It’s hard to explain the exact feeling, but there’s a definite energy that spirits have that my psychosis doesn’t.

I’ve also talked to a guy who has a schizoid type disorder, he said the same thing and added when it’s his disorder there’s usually compulsions that accompanies his hallucinations.

In the case of what I deem most of us it is not mental disorder or illness.

Spirits are around us at any time, their realm and ours overlap. Separateness doesn’t really exist. Most people can’t perceive them but some can indeed. It can be an ability you have since birth or it can happen later on in life, for example if you learn to open your third eye. Clairvoyance and perceiving energetic beings has been a thing since forever!
