My hair started falling out. After a long while of feeling dread about the wads of hair in my hands in the shower and trying to cover the bald spots with the hair that was still there, I decided I was done with it. I am in the process of getting tested for autoimmune disorders (that run in my family) but I until then I must learn to embrace my FULL SELF. And that includes those bits of empty scalp because that may just be my reality! Just wanted to share with people I know will uplift and care ✨🥰 Goodbye long hair, hello FREEDOM!!! 😁😁

With those eyes, and that magical smile – no one will notice.

I have to admit – orange is my favorite color, so that kinda influences my opinion – you ROCK that look!

    Absolutely beautiful.

Comedy side-note: If I went bald, my smart-ass would wear an outrageous wig/toupee, and take it off like a hat during the national anthem at baseball games.

Good for you, darling! You look AMAZING! I have SLE (systemic lupus erythematosus), and my hair has been thinning for a really long time. I’m on like a million vitamins for it. It’s really inspiring to see someone stand up to their autoimmune disease like this. Keep up your positive attitude and kick your illness’ ass!

You look great and you gave the perfect head shape for this look!

That said: I hope you are getting the necessary tests done to find out why you are losing your hair. Lupus and some other autoimmune conditions that cause hair loss have other nastier effects. Good luck on your medical journey!

My hair fell out as well, but due to treatments. Wigs suck ass. Scratchy, hot, they never look like what you want. The best day was when I let it go and let my 2-year-old draw on my bald head with all of my makeup! You Rock My Queen!

As someone who has dealt with hair loss due to autoimmune problems over the years, I know how awful it feels to watch this happen and to not be sure what will make it stop. I cried many many times, felt ugly, and deeply betrayed by my body.

I’m here to tell you what my family and my friends said to me — that you’re beautiful, hair or no hair. I mean it. You really are very pretty, and shaving your head just accentuates your amazing eyes and great smile.

I will mention though — idk if it might help in your recovery, but I’ve been taking two things that have made a tremendous difference in the recovery of my own hair.

    1) Biotin — a liquigel if possible, for better absorption, but any form will do; I take 5,000 to 10,000 mcg a day. Start with 1,000 to 5,000, and take it for 5 or 6 months religiously and gauge your regrowth. Then continue or up the dosage based on that.

    2) BioSil — this is a bit pricey, but it has worked a minor miracle for me (in concert with the Biotin). Get the liquid version — tastes like a stale distant fish kill, so put it in orange juice or another masking liquid. I do 10 drops a day. Give this supplement several months to show results.

Blessings to you, a mile high! I want you to get your health back, no matter what!
