Tarot Trading?

Hey there everyone! First of all, if this post isn’t appropriate here then I’ll happily remove it. I’m pretty new to tarot, not an expert at all, and my beliefs about the spirituality aspect of it is a continually changing thing (along with my beliefs about spirituality in general. Raised conservative Christian, you know how it goes.)

I have a couple of decks I use to read from. The Sun and Moon tarot by Vanessa Decort was my first deck, and I really connected to the energy and intimacy of the images. The emotionality of each card is so strongly communicative to me. I also use the Alleyman’s Tarot occasionally by Seven Dane Asmund – it’s a much more complex deck, but the chaos of it immediately connected with me and it reads surprisingly well.

I also picked up the Mystical Medleys tarot by Gary Hall recently, as the classic cartoon art style really caught my eye. Having had it for a few months now though, I don’t find myself drawn to read from it at all. There are times I find my mind sticking on one of the other two decks, and at those times it feels like they have something to tell me. For Mystical Medleys, I don’t even find myself drawn to pick it up and flip through it. I’ve seen folks on the subreddit talk about trading decks with other readers and wondered where y’all usually do that? Would you do it in person? Do you throw a “deck seeking loving reader” post out somewhere online? I don’t get any bad vibes from the deck, but I just don’t connect with it and I wonder if there may be more chance of someone else finding it a good match for them.

Unfortunately the only viable trade groups I’m aware of are on Facebook. I really wish this wasn’t the case.
