I recently felt drawn to the colour-scheme of black, white and red and I already needed to re-decorate my room so I painted my walls and bought new furniture, all of which are strictly black white and red. (I know this fact seems random but I promise you it plays a bigger part later).

Later on I had more signs from Hekate, that I did not know of at the time, but I came across a video about her on my Tiktok fyp and instead of scrolling like I normally would I sat through and watched it. It was a video about how to know she is calling out to you. I found that all the signs that had been mentioned in the video corresponded to what signs I had been coming across. And so I did my research and began to worship her. Only recently did I find out that the colours I had painted my room and furniture were the main colours associated with Hekate – black, white and red.

Heck, even the candles, vase and statues I had picked out for her altar where black, white and red by coincidence. I only picked those colours for aesthetic purposes, but now that I think about it, it was some heavy intuition.

The reason I have shared this today is because it can be really easy to overlook colours when receiving signs from deities. Colour magick is so strongly overlooked in itself even as someone is well researched. If you find you keep getting coincidentally drawn to certain colours or colour schemes while seeking out deity work – don’t be afraid to dig deeper into it. Your intuition is such a beautiful and useful thing.

I cannot say much on the subject but you have opened my eyes & I will be falling down a rabbit hole on this subject whilst sitting in my own room which is painted with black & white walls and have all red accents lol. My sister calls it my ‘death & blood’ room 🤣 now I’m wondering if being drawn to those colours was something more than just vibes. If I happen to find anything interesting I’ll come back and share it! P.S I think you have great taste ✨🪩
