    Hey guys! Quick little backstory.

Over the past year, I lost my father, Grandfather, and went through a terrible break up.

I wanted to get a tattoo representing this past years struggle and came across The Tower.

Some of my questions are :

    1) Is it bad luck to get a tattoo of this Tarot Card?

    2) Would this correctly represent this past year? If not, do you guys have any recommendations of other tarot cards I could look into?

    3) If I do get a tattoo of this, could it project more negative things to happen to me?

    4) If you guys have anything else to fire at me, hit me with it!

I don’t really know too much about tarot cards, so if you want to drop some knowledge on me, please do!

    1) If you think it’s bad luck, then it’s bad luck.

    2) Some people had really good year 2020, even with all the crap. That’s like saying “is the color of this year dark purple?” It’s so personal that there’s no one answer.

    3) Same as 1– if you think it’s going to bring negative things, then it will, just like any superstition.

    4) Your body, your choice. If you want a tattoo of the Tower, go for it. It’s not for anybody else to decide what’s okay for you to do with your body.

    5) Sorry for your loss. It sounds like a big year, and not in a good way. I do hope you’re able to move forward and heal up 🙂

I have a “negative” card tattoo too. If you feel that it could exorcise all the pain you got, go for it. I am sorry for your loss. I also suggest you to research the card better, the Tower could mean loss and breakup but also a revelation, a sudden light. Best of luck, sorry for my english

Definitely get the tattoo if it holds the meaning that you need it to hold. It’s an incredibly significant card. It will only be unlucky if you think it is. ????

This card would represent your past years struggles. The Tower often represents life changing events and also the sudden insight that comes from them…. it appears from your comments, you have had the overall experience of this card and I think by the tattoo, would represent you have experienced what life threw at you, and survived, ready to face your future from a solid new point. The Star Tarot card comes after the Tarot and signifies healing and therefore optomism for the future..
    Sorry for your losses

I love the tower but it represents upheaval. Things that have been ok, suddenly reveal their flaws and break. I agree that the Star might better represent what you are looking for.

I don’t want to say your tattoo is a bad choice or anything, but I (personally) would not get a tattoo reminding me of something negative. Maybe you could wait and get a card, that represents how you recovered or anything like that. Just a suggestion tho
