Training a psychic power and how that power may affect you.

I’ve always have a very strong intuition. My grandma and aunts have it too and also the ability to predict certain events and perceive things that are happening here and now but on other dimensions… you know what I’m talking about. Although I give importance to my intuition, I don’t know how to train it… I just pay attention to it and that’s it.

Yesterday something happened that kind of shocked me in the sense that I realize how strong is my power: I was at a concert and suddenly remembered a guy I dated like 10 years ago. I never think of him, though it took me a while to overcome his ghosting…but I really never have him in my mind nowadays. I thought “This guy must be around here.” I turned around and there he was, standing like 10mts away from me.

I didn’t say anything at him and didn’t feel anything special about him, but I realize I predicted his presence without even wanting or trying, it just happened and it’s not the first time So, I’m now aware of this power I have that was handed by my ancestors and I want to train it.

I know every of this psychic powers are double-edged weapons, so I also want to open the discussion about how good it is to predict and even see future events and how we can take care of ourselves.

I’m also wondering similar things, I’ve been pretty intuitive as long as I can remember and am able to see auras with little to no effort when I am looking but I’ve never thought much of it, in January I experienced a surgical complication and since I’ve been hearing and seeing those I know to be gone as well as predicting various little things although this is becoming more consistent and rather jarring at times. I have no clue what the heck to do with it, someone suggested I practice but I don’t even know what that looks like and the internet is a wild place when it comes to this stuff! I have zero advice or anything but your not alone in wanting to figure it out!

Developing one’s spiritual gifts is worthwhile when done for good reasons. If you’d like to talk about that then I’m here for you. Everyone’s at least a little psychic and it sounds like your family has a good amount of talent.

In this one specific case, however, I’ll have to express doubt that this was a psychic experience. Like you said, he was about ten meters away from you. Maybe you saw him and you didn’t consciously realize it. Maybe you heard him or smelled him. Our intuition drinks from many streams, not all of them supernatural.
