Transit Saturn Square Natal Moon

TLDR: Saturn transiting my 9th house soon to square my Moon has helped me to see the bigger picture and to release the fear I had, but honestly reading the post is way better lol.

A few days ago I started having an inner sense of foreboding that I couldn’t immediately identify. I checked my transits and noticed that Saturn is beginning to square my moon. My moon is 8 degrees in Taurus and Taurus is the ruler of my 12th house. Saturn is in my 7th house in my natal chart, and is currently at 6 degrees Aquarius transiting through my 9th house. My Pluto is 13 degrees Scorpio so it is aspected shortly after my moon is. Today, I realized that there is a whole lot more to just this aspect. Saturn has been writing a much bigger story.

In 2005 Saturn was in Leo which is the last time that Saturn squared my moon and that is the time I met my now ex-wife. We were in High School at the time and I was very drawn to her and spent a whole year and a half convincing her that I should be her boyfriend. For the sake of honesty, I should mention that I had a girlfriend at the time of meeting my ex (I also have Uranus in the 7th), but broke it off with her maybe 6 months after meeting my ex-wife. I didn’t know it then but this was the beginning of a major karmic cycle.

I proposed very near the time Saturn sextiled my Moon in 2008 and when I got married on 16 September 2008 Saturn was in a very tight sextile with my Pluto at 13 degrees Virgo. I went to boot camp about a week later and started my adult life. In 2012 I got orders to Korea and that year Saturn formed a quincunx with my moon. We grew apart because I had to be there for an entire year and both of us were too young to handle it. We didn’t divorce right away but the writing was on the wall.

She fought me tooth and nail about accompanying me to my next duty station, but she came all the same. However, in July of 2013 as Saturn moved into opposition with my moon sign she decided she had enough and left really early in the morning. The opposition from Saturn to my moon has easily been the most difficult time in my life. Like I alluded to earlier, After something aspects my Moon it hits my Pluto. Well, August and September of 2013 things got worst.

2 weeks or so after my ex-wife left I met a new woman and it was completely platonic. She was married at the time to a man she despised and like me she had spent a year separated from him the prior year. Our shop was very small and everyone went to one guys house to party because we were in the middle of nowhere. Anyway one night we’re all partying (her husband too) and everyone (except me) gets pretty toasted and her husband decides to kick her out. It’s the middle of the night and she ends up staying on my couch because a couple of the guys had hit on her and she didnt feel safe staying where the party was and was low on cash to get a room. Plus, her sponsor to the base moved in after my wife left until he got settled so it seemed ok. Her ex-husband was security forces and his command convinces my command to open an investigation and it results in both of us getting Article 15s and me losing rank. A few months later the Air Force decides to downsize and everyone that got an Article within a very small window would have to get out. We both fell into that window.

The investigation lasted months and in that time we developed an us against the world attitude because everything seemed to have turned on us and we became an item. My sun is 29 degrees Scorpio so by the time Saturn conjuncted my sun in December of 2014 I was in a new job and new state. When I left the Air Force I decided not to go back to my home of record and blaze my own trail.

Her and I are still together and we are now engaged. What’s weird is around the time the investigation started I had made up my mind I wanted to get out of logistics and was trying to cross train into intelligence but ending up getting the boot instead. My first job out of the military was contracting, paid more than I was getting, but was still in Logistics and I actually lost it January 2015. This time around I’ve worked my way into programming and ironically once again I’m a contractor. As Saturn transits my 9th house and I can see that maybe this square is about analyzing the journey and what Saturn and the rest of the planets have been doing all this time but also in awe of the whole thing. Do we really have free will or are we just playing our parts?
