I wouldn’t consider myself a medium, but I’m very in touch with my spiritual side, and have had several experiences in my life that have led me to the conclusion that we’re definitely sharing this world with angels. I, myself, haven’t dealt with a negative energy, but I’m sure they exist as well.
This is what has me concerned. The last 3-4 times I’ve woken up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, I hear a girl crying hysterically. The house is silent, no tv’s or music playing. It’s so real and loud that I’ve checked on my daughters to make sure they’re ok. They’re always sound asleep.
Thoughts?
We’ve lived in this house for 8 years, and this has just started.

Do you hear it once you’re fully awake or in the transition from sleep to wake? I once woke up to what sounded like someone screaming my name with the utmost terror in their voice. But there was no one there, and when I texted to check on my family, everyone was good. It originated in my sleep and woke me up.
Was yours like that? Or you’re awake and hear it?

You should locate a medium near you or online who can find, evaluate, and remove this spirit.

You need a psychopomp. Ask for references and read reviews, carefully.

Find out if there’s a child near you being abused. Find out if a child around you died recently.
The child may just be overcome with emotion. Or the child may have been abused.
Try talking to the child. If it’s a Spirit, it will respond.
Everyone has all the abilities. Most just don’t know how to use them or don’t want to.

Wow! So much good advice. I talk to my spirit guides multiple times a day, but hadn’t thought to ask them about this situation. I also have some sage for smudging. I’ll start there. I’m going for a Reiki session this week. I’ll talk to my practitioner as well!

I have tuned into sounds before, but I was pulled out of it (probably by a spirit guide) >!because it was a distressed animal’s sound and it was making me worried trying to find them and help them, even energetically.!<

And this is a house that has no adjourning walls with other homes, meaning some houses actually share a wall or share certain space. So I just want to make sure that you’re not hearing something coming from another home. First that being said, if you’re not, and the fact that you’ve lived there for eight years, And this is the first time that you’re hearing it. If this is a spirit coming through, this is not somebody that’s associated to the home. This is actually somebody that is more so associated to you. So I’d be curious. Does your, I think you said daughter, has your daughter spoken about any bad dreams, nightmares or anything like that?

I have 3 kids, and one that I miscarried. Our house is completely separated from our neighbors homes, no walls are connected and no house close enough for me to hear someone else. When I’ve heard the crying I’ve gone in to my girls rooms and they’re always sound asleep. Our son is in college and doesn’t live at home anymore.

I’ve heard this before but it was a child- we were traveling in a small remote town and it woke me from a deep sleep. I heard it for awhile before I woke up my hub who didn’t hear it but I still could- so I walked around the house to see if a tv was on or someone was still up and nothing. By the time I started looking for it, the sound stopped

I suggest you show love to that being. Pray to the almighty source that it gets devoid of whatever suffering it is undergoing, as you would pray for yourself. There’s no reason to be afraid of anything when you love everyone. Light a candle, burn some incense and read any scripture in the room that soothes every soul present around. ❤️
