Hi! I’m a baby witch that has been researching witchcraft and wicca in my free time for a little over 6 months. I just recently did my first ritual and it’s made me realize how empowering it is! I’d love to try a few rituals or spells everyday but I have so many other things to do throughout the day that it’s hard to set aside 30 mins to an hour of time for witchcraft.

What are some simple rituals/spells/practices you use everyday? I’d love to incorporate witchcraft into every part of my life so I can feel more empowered, in charge of my life, and to practice more! Thanks in advance 🙂

Usually in the morning, I pull one tarot card as something I should be focusing on for the day as well as picking crystals that amplify/support the card’s message.

Another fun one is stirring my intentions into my morning coffee (or whatever beverage you use in the morning). After I pour my creamer in, I stir it 3 times clockwise while I list in my head what I’d like to have with me that day (productivity, peace, etc). You can also stir it 3 times counterclockwise to ward off things you may feel that day (negativity, stress, etc).

And if you’re feeling energized enough, when night falls I like to look up the moon phase and see if it correlates with a spell I’d like to perform. There’s a ton of apps that can tell you the phase, and you can look up what the phase means.

    I hope this helps! 🙂

I don’t do all of these everyday, but my day may consist of stirring my intentions into my coffee. I usually do this on days when I need extra energy and as I stir clockwise, I will chant “Positivity, productivity. These are the things I draw to me. As I will, so mote it be”.

Talking to my houseplants. Telling them how beautiful they are, that I love them, how well they’re doing, to have a beautiful day, and excuse me when I bump into them, etc. Watering them, giving them offerings of sun water, moon water and sun tea. Oh and also adding in charmed crystals to their pots. I will usually tell the crystal exactly what energy I feel the plant needs and then chant “Make my houseplant big and strong, keep it healthy all day long” three times.

A daily or weekly oracle/tarot pull.

    Consulting my pendulum.

Lighting candles for my ancestors, spirits, Goddess and praying to them/for them.

Giving offerings and thanks to those mentioned above. My more daily offerings are on the simple side, such as milk, honey, coffee and tea.

Giving thanks to the universe, even for the “smaller” everyday things.

Being aware. Seeing the stories that are so beautifully written in the clouds. Being cleansed by the wind and the rain. Softly touching flowers, trees, etc. as I walk by and greeting them. Really listening, hearing and appreciating the songs sung by the neighborhood birds.

    Wearing amulets and talismans.

Keeping crystals by my bed/under my pillow and on my person.

    Adding intention into/blessing the foods I cook/bake.

Drinking herbal teas for their properties and stirring those intentions into the tea (to help aid in energy, focus, sleep, etc).

Saying prayers/blessings for animals’ spirits when I sometimes, sadly, run upon their deceased bodies. (Beside the road, dead birds from neighborhood cats, etc).

Cleansing myself with herbal smoke and in the bath/shower with herbal tea baths.

Glamour magick with rose water, creams and makeup. (For self love and empowerment).

But most importantly, please do not feel pressured to do more than you can/feel like doing from the day to day. There are some days when all I will do is wear my amulet and give thanks. And then there are some days where I will do witchy stuff from sunup till sundown.

I’ve never really thought about cooking my everyday meals as a ritual, but I guess it could be taken as such.

Even if I’m making something as simple as buttered toast, I make it with intention that it will be delicious and nourishing. Or if I’m making something because I am (or someone else is) unwell, my intention becomes redirected to “this will make me feel better.”

    Works every time.

as for spellwork, I majorly do healing. All I do is lightly place my hand on the afflicted area and think about pain leaving me, or a wound sealing. Takes anywhere between a few seconds and a couple of minutes.

If it’s something more complex, like a broken bone or a sickness, the best I can do is accelerate the natural healing process.

These are small things I do every day and they don’t particularly take a lot of time, nor are they fancy, but witchcraft in general is what you make of it. For something to be special or have meaning behind it, you just have to believe it to be so.

I pull a tarot card or do a pendulum reading almost every day. Very relaxing start

Could you tell me what you watched and read? I want to start practicing more and I’m very drawn to it. I remember when I was 7 I brought home a sepll book because I was very curious but got scared and sent it back.

I was going to suggest a lot of the things others had said so let’s try to think of something else lol

Something else I do is drawing sigils everywhere. I focus sigil on school or work folders, an anti-anxiety sigil on a heavily-worn piece of jewelry, a physical and mental health/protection sigil anywhere on your body. You can draw sigils with honey/maple syrup and shampoo/conditioner, you can stir the shape of your sigil into drinks and foods, stuff like that.

You could also light a candle and let it burn for a specific intention. Now, obviously only do this if you’re going to be in the same room as the candle for an extended period of time, or you can light a tea light candle dripped with colored wax on it. For example; Since I’m not allowed to burn free-standing candles, I would drip blue candle wax onto either a white candle in a glass container or onto a tea light. Once the wax has hardened and my intention is set then I burn the contained candle or I light the tea light cand
