What are some things I can do tips as a beginner to connect with my ancestors / spirit guides ?

Hi guys 🤍, have been apart of this community for a few months ready to come forward . I need help/ ways to connect with my ancestors / spirit guides ? I want to ease my way into it without attracting demonic spirits / bad spirits. My grandmother passed away in 2016 I was very close to her and I would absolutely love to communicate with her on a more daily basis instead of always wondering what she is doing on the other realm, crying , praying to her . Is there specific things I should do to connect with her? Any help / guidance is so appreciated thank you to you all 🤍
