Do you have a special deck that you go to when you’re having a hard time or just need some comfort?

I find the *Tarot de Maria Celia* by Lynyrd-Jym Narciso to be my softest-edged deck. The faces have a warmth an approachability that I really like. It’s not a nerfed deck, but it’s still somehow comforting.

Spiral Tarot by Katy Steventon really encourages me to take care of myself and feels comforting and nurturing. It’s also my first deck so it’s like home for me (Tarot wise)

Definitely my Ethereal Visions deck. As I work with my decks I notice more and more that they have different personalities. My Linestrider’s deck tends to sass me more than my other decks. But my ethereal visions deck has this sort of gentle guidance feeling. Almost like a mother. It’s also hella consistent. It usually refers to my dad as king of pent, my mom as queen of cups (unless there’s a major contextual reason that they would be something else). And when It refers to me in a spread it always gives me The Artist (which is a card unique to this deck) – I’m an illustrator and graphic designer by the way. Even when I get a reading that’s scary it doesn’t seem so bad from this deck.

[The Playful Heart Tarot by Kittenchops](https://www.kittenchops.com/shop/slduo3u4e0q36quhzo6vbf4wjxnl35). I wouldn’t use it for every type of reading, as it’s intentionally warm and fuzzy so doesn’t have the balance of light and dark that I look for in a multipurpose deck, but when I need a metaphorical hug it’s wonderful. I’ve seen it recommended for inner child work – sort of the opposite of a shadow work deck.

Thea’s Tarot. Even when it’s scary, there’s a sense of peace.

It depends. The *Santa Muerte Tarot* by Fabio Listrani often works for me in times of need. For me, it has a quirky sense of humor that I find reassuring.

The Enchanted Tarot – it was my first deck that I got over 20 years ago. It just makes me happy.

I have always been slightly creeped out by my decks. I want a cosy one but haven’t found one I like yet
