Why do capricorn placements – especially cap moons, view people as their errand runners?

This has been on my mind for a while. I don’t know many capricorn suns but I know this is definitely the case with capricorn moons where they see everyone as errand runners, and they’re always extremely demanding for no reason. They always find nonsense reasons to bother people too.

I’m a Cap Moon with a perfectionist streak (thx undiagnosed until adulthood ADHD) and would never dream of delegating tasks to anyone else… lest they fuck it up. I will do it all by myself, and do it perfectly. Thx u. 💅

As a cap moon, I just recently got over the issue of never asking people for help at all. I realized I was burning myself out and now ask people to do small things, but nothing huge because I’d feel bad and fear the end quality of the thing I’m asking.

I don’t feel like this represents Capricorn at all… Capricorn tends to take responsibility for doing everything themselves and have kind of a difficult time delegating because if the delegate and that person doesn’t do the thing ‘correctly’ they feel responsible for the errors. Moon placements are internal btw… I’d check Saturn/Mars as others have mentioned.

Yeah no, capricorn is the ultimate “I’ll handle it” sign. They don’t trust others to do things right so if they are handing something of to you, that’s a major sign of trust in your competence.

I would say that, ruled by Saturn, this doesn’t really sounds like a Capricorn trait. Saturn is known to be a demanding boss; it asks for us to be responsible, sucessful, sacrificed, self sufficient. And most Capricorns I know do have the “If I want things get done, I better do them myself” type of mentality.

BUT the moon is not actually that related to someone’s capacity of action. I imagine you have not one but several examples in mind when doing this statement; for more clarity you should check their Mars placements, their Saturn placements, and the ruler of their 8th house.

When someone puts their planets in your eight (the house of shared resources) the relationship can so easily become like this; you feeling constantly demanded by them or feeling like they take or act like everything you have is free for their disposal.

I’m a cap moon (Scorpio sun Pisces rising) and if anything I am the errand runner. I never bother people without reason. Maybe I could see it for a cap moon without much water/more fire in their chart.

I too am a cap moon, and I got to agreed with everyone else. I always do everything myself and struggle to ask for help. It’s was comforting to read that other caps relate to this.

Ummmm earth signs in general are the usually the “do it myself at all costs” type of signs. You should look at some of the other signs.
