How often does that deck miss-shuffle? Some decks are just the wrong size for my hands or the cards are still too stiff.
But I agree with lane-picking in advance if possible. Like the difference between house rules regarding dice (are they read where they land, or do they have to be on the table to count?)
**But then** one of my coven mates will have things happen to her in a poltergeisty way. Cards shooting out of decks, something unknown bangs the table and cuts the deck. She also breaks video games (glitching the game, in game). So in that case, it might be her subconscious trying to tell her something.

I make rules for myself, so I don’t keep second guessing- I don’t do reverse, I shuffle and cut the same way every time, and I don’t take pop outs. They still get the message across with attitude đŸ¥°

Both. I usually see it as a message unless I’ve dropped half the deck, then I know I’ve seriously pissed someone off and I have to quit at that point.
And I give offerings to every goddess I know.
