I’m practicing three card spreads where it’s
the unknown
The challenge
The solutionFor today I got
the unknown- queen of swords
The challenge-sun in reverse
The solution- queen of cups in reverseBack of deck- eight of swords in reverse
I don’t fully understand how the solution can be queen of cups in reverse unless that’s supposed to mean that the solution is unblocking queen of cups energy or addressing the features of the queen of cups in reverse?
But then what would it mean if the queen of cups had been upright?
Likewise- if the challenge is the Sun in reverse how could the sun upright be a challenge?
The Sun in RW (which this was) for me represents a person/friend in my life so this makes some sense.

Edit:
Asked for clarification and got
The Unknown: Queen of Swords clarified by the High Priestess in Reverse
The Challenge: the Sun in reverse clarified by the Ten of Pentacles
The Solution:
Queen of Cups in reverse clarified by the three of Wands in reverseWhich is even more confusing in terms of the solution.
___________
This was a daily reading but I have been thinking a lot about a romantic situation so it might have slipped in.The queen of swords is very direct and reasonable so I read it (with the clarifications) as to stop focusing so much on my heart and just staying in heart without movement and act with my mind, instead of expecting to embody queen of cups activity, the solution to the delays in the situation would be to do the opposite (more like queen of swords).
Focus more fully on conscious action.
This works because of the sun but also because this person is often represented by the sun/a lot of the features of the sun card match them.
Freedom and release will come with doing this.
