From my Leo experience, no. I’ve got a couple Aquarius that are really close to me, I love them dearly but they mostly get on my nerves.
I find more affinity with my rising sign, Scorpios

Taurus rising (me, female) with a scorpio rising (male). Spent 15 years as my best friend when we finally realized the love went far deeper – now married. I am also a libra sun with scorpio stellium, and he’s a scorpio sun with libra stellium. He is definitely not my opposite though. We are pretty much the same person. Don’t let astrology dictate your heart. Opposites, incompatible signs…. doesn’t matter. Love, trust, loyalty and communication are what matters.

I get along with Capricorns really well, despite our ability to clash. My mom’s a Capricorn as well, I was a total Mama’s boy.

I don’t think this is a hard and fast rule but I’m a Libra and my partner is an Aries and we compliment each other so well!

But I think if sister signs are matched together (no matter what kind of relationship) communication is needed. I don’t think the “balance each other out” thing can always work unless they actively try to make it work. If they don’t, the big differences between them can create a lot of tension.

My partner and I are “opposites” but we actively work on our communication because we’re so different in a lot of ways and if we didn’t we would probably argue a lot more.

But also I think is a good rule of thumb for any relationship regardless of astrology so 🤷🏼‍♂️

as a cancer, i am often attracted to capricorns but that doesn’t mean we’re most compatible. i have some good capricorn friends but most of my good friends aren’t.
