No Hagrid didn’t make a cake for them. He would never make a cake for someone so TERFy.
I like to pretend all the beloved characters hate them, even though I can’t enjoy the characters and stories anymore.

The irony of a woman who went by her initials so that people would *think she was a man* and buy more books, and then also *wrote under a male pseudonym* so that *people would again think she was a man* to buy her books, yet cannot fathom blurring the lines of gender under any circumstance other than her own capitalistic gain.

I was going to make a joke about how gender was invented by Big Bathroom to sell more toilets, but my gosh, I am just sick of TERFS.
If JK wasn’t a TERF, she would have clarified her statement and apologized for the hurt she caused. All I got to say is that as an Asian woman that a character being named Cho Chang in a world where people's names are interesting like "Nymphadora Tonks" is nothing. I have nothing else to say. It speaks for itself.

I read through her stupid TERF post because I knew people around me will talk about it and I want to know what it is about.
And after it, I just wanted to sit her down, look her in the eyes and tell her, that TRAUMA IS NO BLOODY IDENTITY!!!
This rubbish about trans women not having experienced the same oppression of the patriarchy (which they have maybe in a different way, but all genders suffer from it) and the threat of assault growing up. And as a cis woman I can say: LIKE HELL THAT’S MAKES ME A WOMAN! I DONT NEED ANY TRAUMA FOR THAT!
I mean the aim of feminists should be to fight this collective trauma and prevent it from keep happening. I’m a cis woman in Europe in my 30s. I’m pretty sure I have experienced less trauma and oppression for being a woman than many women in other parts of the world. Probably even less than my mother and grandmothers before me. And that doesn’t make me less of a woman than them!
And hopefully, the generations to come will have to experience it less than I and my generation had to. And that won’t make them less woman than me! -

I threw out all of my Harry Potter books and I stopped watching anything that’s about her or written by her cuz I refuse to support anything that terf does.
I have a friend who works as a publicist in the media industry and he told me since her Terf status came out box office numbers have been impacted and the most recent fantastic beast movie had lowest box office numbers compared to previous films because people don’t want to support her work. This information gave me so much joy. I’m hoping eventually it wont be worth it to adapt her books into films.
