This is the first finished piece in the new collection- Thetis, a color-change garnet befitting of a shape-shifting goddess.

GuestDecember 6, 2021 at 3:28 amGreetings to my favorite coven! I always love sharing my work here, the responses and support I get are a very real kind of magic. A few months ago, I posted two rings I’d named after Circe and Demeter. Not only did that lead to dozens of you recommending I read Circe (fantastic read, thank you all), but it inspired me to work on a collection of pieces that are all inspired by goddesses. This one is Thetis- this type of garnet shows slightly different colors in different types of light, a bit of a shapeshifter, like Thetis. The diamonds are recycled from damaged antique jewelry.
Thank you for letting me share again, this sub brings me so much inspiration!

GuestDecember 6, 2021 at 3:28 amAny pics of the color shift?
I love color change stones, I was born in June and my traditional birthstone is alexandrite. I have a better chance at being struck by lightning than owning a decent one so I might try a color change garnet

GuestDecember 6, 2021 at 3:28 amBeautiful ring! I think a hestia ring (or something else) would be good! It could be some fiery colours, and in Greek mythology, hestia is the purest of any god or goddess. Never done anything bad. Hesti is bestia.
