I love this deck but I barely use it because I can’t shuffle it. How do you go about shuffling this deck?

Really strong feelings of self care from these cards. Don’t let the world around you be a bad influence to your perceptions. Be the bright cup on top, haters gonna hate.

I LOVE MY TRUE BLACK DECK.

Coincidentally, I pulled Temperance as my daily card yesterday, and the 4 of cups today! The deck feels more simplistic to me and much easier for me to understand and interpret the cards.

I have been studying some of the hermetic philosophies that inspired the Rider Waite Smith deck to better understand the cards and it is taking a lot of contemplation and meditation on my end to fully understand what I am researching. Probably why I got Temperance yesterday and 4 of cups today. I don’t believe it is a coincidence that the firs time I see someone share a read with the true black deck on this reddit only has those exact same cards lol.

Beautiful deck and educational interpretation (I’m still learning). Also, inspiring story. I myself struggle with apathy and chaos. As such I decided to take it slow this semester and focus on meaningful steps rather than a high quantity of them (vague ik, but I really appreciate ur post)

I’d also say that you’re in the dark and not-clear period of your life, and you’re alone wiyh your problems (face-to-face). but may be it’s good for you, because now your challenge is to find your own strong sides for solving your problems.

4 of Cups is *such* a good wake up call card, especially with something as calming as Temperance. Especially when you need a nudge to get a new outlook on life (speaking as someone who’s come out of their years long depressive rut recently). I’m so glad you’re getting this energy!

Ok I tried this today got 5 Wands Completion for Embrase and Release was 4 Wands Strife. Very spot on and cracked me up they were back to back as my deck is throughly shuffled. I really like this new spread option.

Lately I’ve found some comfort in a daily two card spread, manifesting what I should embrace and what I should release.

The appearance of Temperance signifies an invitation of balance, an offer of stabilization and grounding. Temperance is a reminder to keep calm in the chaos. In the spirit of balance, one should be open to all perspectives to see a centered path one might not see alone.

The Four of Cups is a symbol of apathy and contemplation. In releasing your inner apathy, you become open to new opportunities that you may have found yourself disinterested in. You may be reflecting too deeply, and this is your invitation to dispel the feeling that your “cup is too full.”

This combination feels particularly personal, as I’ve been having a pretty bad spell of depression over the past couple months. To me, this is a reminder to focus on staying centered and listen to those who are close to me. Letting go of apathy is noteworthy as I feel like I often fall into indifference, to the detriment of my relationships and creativity. It’s interesting that by embracing a calm center, I can let go of flooding thoughts.
