Recently my significant other and I have had a run of bad luck: 3 significant pet deaths in 3 different households in one week. I have covered all my salt safe crystals in salt to begin cleansing them. I have salt sprinkled on my altar as well. I placed lemon wedges in the corners of my apartment on the recommendation of a witch friend I practice with. I plan on cleansing with incense tonight. Another friend I practice with offered to let me use her singing bowl to cleanse both apartments. Previously, I had lilac leaves (good for protection and hex breaking) on my alter. I have buried the old ones, and plan on cleansing the container before placing new ones. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I’m trying to rid myself and my boyfriend of this bad and bring some new good in.

Just to be careful with any herbs, oils, and incense, if you still have other pets in the household…as some can be irritating or toxic to small animals.. if you are cleansing with the intention to protect other pets you may have, choose something non toxic and maybe soothing and comforting for them. Look up anything you plan to use, to double check if you aren’t sure.

Open windows to move air through your home, some cleaning and tidying to clear up excess energy. I am going through the same at the minute. It sucks. It will pass.

Don’t just cleanse your home. Cleansing just removes energy, replace it with new energy. Make new energy, fill it with new scents, and new affirmation.
